1. How to make a phone call?

There are three major operators

(1) China Unicom (Customer service: 10010):

Where to purchase: Go to the China Unicom sales office which locates on the left of the first floor of student canteen .You can take your passport to set up an international long distance plan(IPK). The actual long distance rates are different depending on the country you call.

(2) China Mobile (Customer service: 10086):

Where to purchase: Go to the China mobile sales office which locates on the left of the first floor of student canteen. You can take your passport to set up an international long distance plan(IPK). The actual long distance rates are different depending on the country you call

(3) China Telecom (Customer service:10000)

Where to purchase: Go to the China Telecom sales office which locates on the first floor of the No.3 dormitory. You can take your passport to set up an international long distance plan(IPK). The actual long distance rates are different depending on the country you call.

2. How to use the internet?

In order to set up internet in your dormitory, first go to the Office of International Cooperation and Foreign Student Affairs to get a student number, and then go to the China Telecom Office located on the west side of the first floor of the Library Information Center to set up your residence internet. With regards to the internet fees, please ask the staff on hand at China Telecom.

3. Where can I photocopy, print or send and receive faxes?

Nearby the No. 2 and 3 dormitories, as well as the first floor of the canteen all have photocopy and print shops. You can also send and receive faxes there.

4. Friends and relatives want to send me packages from abroad so how do I write the address?

You can write the campus address as following:

No.156, Kejia Avenue, Shuinan town, Zhanggong district, Ganzhou city, Jiangxi province, China.( The Golden campus, Jiangxi University of Science and Technology)

5. How do I send packages?

In the left part of the first floor of the canteen building there is a China Post which can send EMS express packages. There are also many other courier companies nearby the NO.2 and No.3 dormitory, such as Zhongtong, Yuantong, Shunfeng, Yndda and Shentong courier companies.
